From Our Council President

Several people have shared with me that we as a Congregation certainly have several challenges right now. A challenge by definition is something needing great mental or physical effort in order to be done successfully. Unfortunately, many times we see challenges as pass / fail; success has to be a total win, all things in perfect order, instead of seeing success in a more practical light; as a work in progress. We know that God sees us and what we do, as a work in-progress. He knows that we will keep evolving as we grow in Christian love, through our study of the Bible, service to others and hope and faith in Him. With all of the challenges that we face on a daily basis as individuals and as a Congregation, I hope that we can continue to remember the words written in Romans 5:3-5; We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. May these words be a true guiding light to all of us as we go forward with our service to God, our construction, our move, our call process and beyond.

Peace and Love to each of you,
